This Drives Customers CRAZY

If you want to really drive customers CRAZY 😑, you'll do this:

You'll try to show your product in the very first meeting. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Research shows that this is one of the MAIN reasons customers won't give you a second meeting.

❌ If you're doing a Zoom meeting, this means sharing your screen and showing boring PowerPoint slides.

❌ If you're in person, it means bringing your product to the first meeting and trying to do a demo before you even know what they want.

Instead, try this:
βœ… Ask strategic questions BEFORE you show them anything
βœ… Take detailed notes of what they say, so that when DO show the product, you'll know EXACTLY what to say and what NOT to say
βœ… Resist the urge to interrupt them, even if you're excited because your product is going to FIX their problem. Save this for later.

Research recently released from Gong supports this, and some people were actually surprised by these findings.
