You really shouldn't ask customers about the weather...or should you?

It really depends on them.

Is their personality type:

👉 A driver?
👉 An analytic?
👉 An expressive?
👉 An amiable?

Drivers (like me) do NOT want to chit chat about weather or what we did over the weekend...but some customers love that!

Treat customers they way THEY want to be treated...but first you have to figure out who they are!
