Sales Cycles Are Long - Get Started Now!

One time I called the same customer every single month for 27 months before they finally agreed to meet with me (that was my record).

I'm sure some would think that is very annoying behavior, but I was always polite and respectful, and the customer knew that SOME DAY, she would want to meet with me, so it made it easier for her to know that I would just keep trying and she wouldn't have to think about it and try to remember how to get in touch with me when she was finally ready.

Even after those 27 months, it still took another year to get a PO. Sales cycles can be really long, depending on your business. Yes, you're trying to wrap up year-end orders and buy your Christmas presents, but don't forget about your funnel. Get started now so you always have stuff coming in.
