Customers LOVE This!

If you want customers to LOVE ❤️you, do this:

Plan ahead. 📊

So often we get those frantic calls from existing customers, where they suddenly need products and they need them RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!

And getting orders is wonderful, but if we can't give them the lead times they want, and with supply chains such a mess right now, chances are, we won't be able to, bad feelings are inevitable.

Instead of waiting for the customer to call you and tell you what they need and when, plan ahead!

Suggest quarterly planning meetings.

And don't come in empty-handed to these meetings.

Get quotes PREPARED for what they will need to upgrade and purchase, and go in with a tentative plan for years 1, 2, 3 4, and 5.

Maybe even longer.

Customers will want to make their own adjustments to the plan of course, but if you help them think ahead, they will be thrilled when you're able to meet their deadlines and it won't be a fire drill every time. 👩‍🚒

Plus, you're becoming a valuable resource to them. A consultant, a partner, not just a sales rep.

This may seem obvious, but customers tell me this is actually very rare. Hardly any sales reps come to them with 5 years worth of quotes.
