Stop Complicating Your Sales Emails!
When you write an email, it works best to write at a 3rd grade level.
It's true. Research backs it up.
Fluffy marketing language doesn't work. Long emails also don't work. No one reads them anyway. Trust me.
These are bad:
👎 Pursuant to our discussion
👎 Attached you will find
👎 As you requested, I have attached a revised agenda
These are good:
👍 When we chatted the other day,
👍 I attached the spreadsheet for you
👍 During the meeting, you asked me to change the agenda. I attached it here for you so you can see what I changed.
Do you see the difference? Stop talking so fancy. People don't relate to it and it doesn't build trust.
