What Makes a Good Sales Manager?

When you're looking for a manager, we can only hope to find someone who:

👉 Isn't afraid to ask for (and take) advice from the underlings. Sometimes the folks in the trenches know what's really going on and good managers know this.
👉 Would offer to bag groceries in the grocery store if a bagger wasn't available. This shows they're willing to get their hands dirty and work hard and respect those below them.
👉 Is willing to fight for you. Things can get messy sometimes with commissions, product issues, etc. A good manager isn't afraid to stand up to HIS boss for you and for what's right.
