Give Young Sales Talent a Chance

Young talent is so fun.

I had the pleasure of sitting with a young sales rep recently, while he started making his first prospecting calls.

He had some experience in doing inside sales in the past but was new to this company, and it was such fun to watch him on the phone with customers. It brought me back to my first days as a sales rep.

It was like the Wild West. I never knew what to expect on the other end of the phone. It was exciting and terrifying all at the same time, and nothing feels better than when a customer accepts your call and actually talks to you.

Young talent is worth your investment. Hire young talent and let them shine. They really will.
