Sorry! No News Is Not Good News
Sorry, no News is NOT good news. In fact, in the world of complex sales, it's probably bad news. 🤦♀️
If you've been told by your main point of contact that they're 💯 buying from you, but then they stop calling you, you've got a problem, because with capital equipment sales:
👉 There are usually MANY decision-makers.
👉 There are many departments fighting over the same money
👉 One of the OTHER decision makers has probably stepped in and is about blow up your deal. 🔥💣🔥
When you start getting ignored, it's hard to know what to do. But DON'T do this:
❌ "Please, can I JUST have 10 minutes with you?" ❌
❌ We really need this sale this quarter or my boss will be mad ❌
There's a lot more you can do, but don't beg for their time. There are better ways to get back on course.
