Should We Call Customers?

Do they even want us to?

Many sales reps are nervous to contact customers during this pandemic.

Why?

They’re afraid to bother them.  They know that these are hard times and they assume that capital budgets are frozen and they don’t want bother the customer during this very difficult time.

But is that what customers really want?

This week, I spoke with Healthcare Technology manger (Biomed), for UHS, Chris Nowak, and he shared that the #1 problem he’s having with sales reps during this COVID crisis is a surprising one.

They aren’t showing up.  They aren’t calling.  They’re assuming that it’s NOT business as usual, and his team is having to actually search out their reps for information about buying things.
