#1 Reason Why Clients Aren’t Answering Emails
If you're not getting responses to your emails, I can probably tell you why.
They're too long.
Research shows emails with 50 words or less get the best responses. And yet, so often we get emails with PARAGRAPHS of information. Prospects and customers don't want to read that (and they won't!).
Sometimes for internal messages, we get emails that are continued on the same string for weeks, with the words, "Please see below". Who is going to read dozens of emails to get caught up?!? Not me!
We deserve better, and so do customers. Remember:
👉 Keep it short. Be ruthless and delete anything repetitive.
👉 Don't cut corners. If you want someone to know the background, give them a summary.
👉 Avoid apologizing for "bothering" them. Just get to the point.
